From its foundation in 2007 to an established player in the region
Dipl.-Ing. Christian Augel founded Wellsolutions in 2007 after having worked in the pool industry since 1995 for renowned companies such as Sopra Koblenz and Astralpool Deutschland (now Fluidra). The founding story began unconventionally: dissatisfied customers of a regional pool builder approached Augel, who then set up his own company. The beginnings were modest, with an office in the basement and a warehouse in the garage.
The continuous growth course is reflected in the company’s development: 2010 acquisition of land in the Eich industrial estate, 2012 construction of the company headquarters, 2020 extensive expansion. In 2022, further plots of land were acquired for planned warehouse buildings. From initially supra-regional projects, Wellsolutions now strategically focuses on the Rhine-Main and Rhine-Neckar regions, a maximum of one hour’s drive from the company headquarters for optimum service.
The family business today
The company is managed by Christian Augel (technical management and project planning), supported by Christina Augel (finance and HR) and Katja Augel (marketing). Specialized employees take care of office management, customer consulting, service, logistics and e-commerce. Wellsolutions has established itself as a “constant in Rhineland-Palatinate” (quote from trade magazine Schwimmbad.de) and benefits from stable partnerships with regional architects. Steam baths with aromatherapy

Automatic water treatment
The BAYROL Automatic Salt electrolysis system converts pool salt into active chlorine via electrolysis and automatically regulates pH and redox values. A free smartphone app enables monitoring and control from anywhere. The BAYROL Automatic Cl/pH dosing system with touch display monitors the water quality around the clock and doses precisely – this saves chemicals and protects the environment.
Intelligent pool cleaning
The Prowler P20 pool robot weighs less than 6 kg, has intelligent navigation and high-speed rotating brushes. Cleaning cycles can be programmed, areas defined and schedules created via smartphone app – wirelessly for pools up to 70 m³ and 12 m long.
The range is complemented by digital pool controls for filtration, heating, lighting, counter-current system and pool cover. Integration into smart home ecosystems is possible without any problems.

The 1,000 m² showroom: experience instead of just looking at
The showroom in Eich (In der Hochgewann 5, 67575 Eich) is much more than just a salesroom. Customers can test and experience pools, saunas, infrared cabins and spa equipment live on over 1,000 m² of indoor and outdoor space. Binder counter-current systems (the strongest in the world was demonstrated at the 2024 season opening) can be tried out in the outdoor pool. A Riviera Pool D-Line with OSPA technology is permanently available for demonstration.

Many products can be taken directly from stock. A decisive advantage over pure online retailers or manufacturers with long delivery times.
Regional roots: fast service within a radius of 60 kilometers
Wellsolutions primarily serves Rhineland-Palatinate and the neighboring Rhine-Main/Rhine-Neckar regions within an hour’s drive of Eich. The specific catchment area includes Mainz, Kirchheimbolanden (Donnersberg), Ludwigshafen, Mannheim, Heidelberg and Darmstadt.
This regional focus is a strategic strength: fast on-site service calls for technical problems, no long waiting times, personal support. The in-house repair capacities, a unique selling point in the region, enable numerous products to be repaired directly by Wellsolutions, not by third parties. Telephone support is available for customers outside the region.

Is a smart pool suitable for every garden?
Basically yes. Wellsolutions also develops suitable concepts for small plots from 150 m². Compact pools with an intelligent counter-current system offer swimming fun in the smallest of spaces.
How long does the installation take?
Depending on the complexity, between 8 and 16 weeks. The pure construction time on site is usually only 2-3 weeks, the rest is spent on planning, approval and technical installation.
What happens in the event of an Internet outage?
The pool also continues to function fully automatically offline. All important functions are stored locally. Only remote control via app is temporarily not possible.
What are the running costs?
For an 8x4m pool, Wellsolutions calculates annual costs of around 1,200-1,800 euros for electricity, water and chemicals for normal use from May to September.
Does Wellsolutions also offer maintenance?
Yes, from the spring check and winter storage to the full service contract. Remote maintenance via app enables quick help with problems.
Can I retrofit my old pool with smart?
Wellsolutions offers retrofit solutions for existing pools. After technical testing, many pools can be upgraded with smart technology.
